OVERVIEW
Source Civil Ltd was appointed as the specialist Civil contractor to carry out all Civil works required to construct a multi-storey data centre in Frankfurt.
This project is an extremely complex project on an existing brown field site with numerous existing services drainages & water running through the proposed footprint location of the new building. The building consists of 3 levels with a total output of 56MW. This project is part of a campus site with tight logistical issues.
SUMMARY of the project
- Demolition of existing access routes and removal of old foundations &
asphalt. - Excavate & removal of highly contaminated muck.
- 29 no. Precast Concrete Chambers varying from 15T-48T.
- 2 no. cofferdam with 12m & 6m deep sheet piles
- 48,000 Lm of services
- Utilities including:
- Foul pipework,
- Surface water,
- Rainwater pipework,
- Telecom ducts,
- HV ducts, LV Ducts, MV Ducts,
- Watermain, Hydrant, Irrigation
