Packie Bonner launches Source Safety initiative ‘MISE’
We were honoured to welcome Donegal and Irish soccer legend, Packie Bonner, to our Dublin site for the official launch of our new Health & Safety initiative ‘MISE – Make It Safe Everyday’.
‘MISE’ reinforces the personal responsibility every Source Civil team member has in building and maintaining a safe workplace every day, on every site. The launch formed part of the Construction Industry Federation’s (CIF) national safety campaign, ‘Back to Basics’. Speaking at the event, Packie Bonner said he was proud to support a Donegal company that prioritises safety: “I just love the simplicity of this initiative. Accidents happen when people don’t stop to think. ‘MISE’ is a wonderful reminder that we all play a part in keeping ourselves and our colleagues safe,” commented Packie.

We are thrilled to announce that Source Civil Ltd, a leading civil engineering firm based in Donegal, has officially opened the doors to our new state-of-the-art headquarters in Donegal Town. This significant milestone is part of our strategic €10 million investment plan over the next five years, which includes the creation of 50 new jobs, bringing our workforce to over 270 employees in the coming year.
Our new facility, spanning 10,000 sq. ft. and located in Lurganboy, just outside Donegal Town, will serve as a key hub for our operations. This expansion will enable us to better support our growing clientele in key markets across Europe, including Germany, Holland, France, and the UK, and reflects the remarkable growth we have experienced over the past few years.
We were honored to have Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation, Dara Calleary TD, officially inaugurate our new facility during the grand opening ceremony. Minister Calleary welcomed our expansion and highlighted its significance for Donegal and the Northwest region. “Source Civil Ltd exemplifies the dedication and attention to detail necessary to excel in the competitive civil engineering landscape. Their ongoing investments in staff, new technologies, and equipment affirm their position as the company of choice for many, both locally and internationally. At Source Civil, we take pride in our strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship on time and on budget.
