OVERVIEW
Source Civil Ltd was appointed as the specialist Civil contractor to carry out all Civil and structural works required to construct a 38kv Substation supplying K2 Data Centre. Following the success of this Contract we were appointed specialist Civil and structural contractor for phase 2 which comprised of a 150m2 ESB substation.
Summary of the project
During This project, Source Civil were responsible for the following:
- Implementation of Storm Water and Land Drainage Systems.
- Installation of a Petrol Interceptor
- Construction of Two Reinforced Concrete Transformer Bunds.
- Construction of Five Reinforced Concrete Blast walls reaching 8M high.
- Construction of a 50m2 Reinforced Concrete PEC Building foundation
consisting of a Reinforced concrete base, Ten Reinforced concrete
columns, Ten Reinforced concrete wall infills with over 30 duct
penetrations. - Installation of Earthing grid throughout the site.
- Errection of 200m of Palisade Fencing
- Installation of Over 300m of Ducting ranging from 50mm to 160mm
- Graded Stone finishes with teram underlay throughout the site.
