Source Civil Ltd was appointed as the specialist Civil contractor to carry out all Civil works required to construct a 38kv Substation supplying a Data Centre.
Summary of the project
This project is a 150m2 38Kv Substation connecting a Data Centre to the ESB grid.
SCL scope of works on this project included:
- Excavation and disposal for strip foundations and pouring 300mmdeep foundation.
- RC Works and waterproofing 1.5m deep cable pit, to accommodate cables serving the switchgear Room
- Construction of the 4m high rising walls
- Foul and Storm Drainage
- Installing 60m of palisade fencing and concrete plinths.
- Pouring 50m of perimeter ring beam
- Installation of 150m2 of 200mm Hollowcore slabs
- 300m2 of external plasterwork
- Install of truss roof and slating.
- Internal and ESB Spec external doors
- Internal fitout, including GRP raised access floor, plumbing
- Pouring 50m of footpath to perimeter
- Grading and stoning up site wide.
